Fama & Raadgever organ for sale

The Dutch Reformed Bethel church in Lunteren (NL) was designed by the well known architect A.K. Nes. 1972. The Dutch organ builders Fama & Raadgever designed and built the new pipe organ. At delivery, four stops were prepared, and were installed a few years later. In 2006, the church building was taken over by the Hersteld Hervormde Kerk and within a few years the seating capacity became too limited. In 2016 a new church will be built (completion is expected around Spring 2017) with approximately 1.200 seats. The current pipe organ is naturally too small for this large building so the church wardens decided to ask Van den Heuvel-Organ builders (www.vandenheuvel-orgelbouw.nl) to find a new home for this lovely organ and to take responsibility for the dismantling and re-installation.

Dutch Reformed Church at Ouderkerk aan den IJssel ordered a III/P, 37-stop organ

OuderkerkHHKIn 2016 the “Hersteld Hervormde Kerk” is building a new 900 seat church. The traditional design of this church is made by the well known Dutch architect Marco Born.

The church committee also decided to install a fine pipe organ. Alas many churches are closing in the Netherlands and the best quality organs are quite often sold to Van den Heuvel-Orgelbouw. Van den Heuvel (trained by Dirk A. Flentrop) bought the last few years, among other organs, 5 important Flentrop organs, and just purchased a well known Flentrop-organ from the Maranatha-church in Amsterdam. The measures of this organ were suitable for the church in Ouderkerk. The customer however requested Van den Heuvel to make important improvements, alterations and to include additional (wider scaled) stops, as well as a completely new traditional organ case design with wood carvings. The organ has to be delivered in 2017.

On March 2 the new church and organ of the Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Opheusden will be inaugurated.

The new church, seating 1750 people, is after the design of Van Beijnum Architects. The two manual Van den Heuvel organ (2002) from the old church had 29 stops on two manuals and pedal. It is enlarged with a new positiv division and a open mahogany Quintbas 10 2/3 on the pedal. The windchest and pipework of the new positiv is still reserved but a new 3 manual console was already placed.

Also, the pulpit, the lectern and the font are of your own design and crafted by us.
