The Redeemer Church was built in 1956 as Reformed Church. The firm Bernard Pels & Zn from Alkmaar (NL) built the new organ in 1964 (opus 617). It was built under the advice of Piet Kiel Sr. On January 7, 1965 it was officially put into use. 2019 organ builder Pels & Van Leeuwen worked in the organ and an important re-voicing was made. This organ builder also split the Octaaf 2’ from the Mixtuur ranks and made it separately operable, which created more timbre options. Some months afterwards, the decision was made to divest the church on January 1, 2020.
