Skedsmo, Norway, church of Skedsmo (2001)

In the church of Skedsmo an old English organ was placed by J.L. van den Heuvel Orgelbouw. It acts as a choir organ. The organ was designed and built for a landhouse chapel around 1840 . Around 1880 the organ was relocated in a church in Herefordshire. Ingram & Co. placed a new façade with wooden imitation pipes in front of the organ. In 1995 the organ was dismantled and stored.

After the church was closed the organ was bought by Van den Heuvel - Orgelbouw and shipped to The Netherlands. In the work shops the whole instrument was restored. In 2001 the instrument was purchased and installed in Skedsmo church.
