L. Verschueren (1954, 25IIP)

The organ was built in 1954 for the Maranatha Church in Rotterdam-Overschie. The consultant was Dirk Janszoon Zwart, who also played the organ. This church remained in use until May 18, 2003. The organ was subsequently offered for sale. The Reformed Church in Ten Boer expressed interest, and the firm Nijsse handled the relocation. The Roerquint 5 1/3' of the Pedal was replaced by a Gedekt 8'. Otherwise, the disposition remained unchanged. Architect Sharon Nijboer designed a partially new facade that fit better into the church interior. The organ in Ten Boer was put into use on January 28, 2006.

In 1891, Léon Verschueren founded an organ building workshop in Heythuysen. After the Second World War, the company also became more active abroad and grew into one of the larger organ building workshops in the Netherlands. At one point in the mid-1950s, the workshop even employed 100 people.
