Vreeswijk, Durch Reformed Church (1977)

In the years 1904-1906 Van Dam constructed an organ for the Reformed church of Vreeswijk. This organ had a permanently coupled pedal. Van Dam used an older case with façade pipes. Since the original pipe work wasn't all by Van Dam he probably also used some pipework from this older organ. The old organ of Vreeswijk, built by Abraham Meere, was sold to the Reformed church of Lopik. Maintenance was done by B.F. Bergmeijer of Woerden who also put his name plate on this "van Dam" organ.

In 1977, under consultantcy of Frans van Tilburg, the organ was restored by J.L. van den Heuvel. The Bourdon 16' of the Hoofdwerk (Great) is used for the pedal, its original place on the Great is now taken by the Mixtuur. The new Nasard and Dulciaan replace two former string stops. The organ was inaugurated on June 21, 1977.
