Disassembly

On Monday, May 4, work commenced with the dismantling of the interior of the Positif.

Bellow

The leather of the bellow was in poor condition, and the bellow has therefore been completely re-leathered.

Action

The key- and stop action are being overhauled. Pivot points renewed, pulpet wires renewed, key action wires renewed, and the spring sliders checked.

Pipework

In addition to repairing damaged pipes by tuning, the restoration of the pipework includes adjusting the voicing to match the 1983 configuration. Where necessary, specific improvements are being made, such as adding side beards to the wooden pipes of the Bourdon 8' and replacing the tips of the pipe feet of the façade pipes. Some of the wooden pipes had previously been fitted with metal side ears that were stapled to the pipe.
