Polsbroek, Dutch Reformed Church (1982)

Polsbroek, Dutch Reformed Church (1982) Maarten Rog

For long it was unclear who built the original 19. Century organ. It seemed to be a piece of art made by Hermanus Holtgräve, and was delivered in 1879. During a restauration project by Verweys in 1944, all original facade pipes were replaced by poor pipes made of zinc. In 1981/1982 Van den Heuvel reconstructed the organ in original style and added a second manual. Also the facade pipes, made of tin,  became new. The inaugural concert took place on March 1982 by Jan J. van den Berg.
